^The Scholarship Program

Each year Lawamena gives scholarship to students in Primary and Secondary Schools in Ambon. The money given is to help families who are struggling economically to pay for the school needs of their children. This scholarship is given at the start of each academic year in July.

The aim of this scholarship program is to provide an opportunity for the children in Ambon to have access to education. The children who need assistance are helped until they complete Year 12 (the final year of secondary school).

Lawamena scholarship program continues with over 40 students being sponsored this year. We welcome individual sponsorship through Lawamena. Please contact us if you are interested.
