3 students from this school are sponsored by the Wendouree Rotary Club through Lawamena. A member of the Rotary Club who is also a member of Gull Force visited these 3 children and met with the school principal.
In December 2011 Lawamena started a Milk Distribution Project at this school where each child received a free bottle of milk. Some of the children in Ambon will grow up with calcium deficiency. This milk distribution project helps ensure a supply of calcium in the diet.
